From your first spark of an idea to a manuscript ready for the world, I offer coaching and editing built around where you are right now, not a one-size-fits-all package. Here's how we can work together.
"Get Me Unstuck" Coaching Call
A one-time call for whatever stage of the writing process has you stuck. On a Get Me Unstuck call, we can:
- Plot the novel
- Work through a scene that isn't coming together
- Figure out what a character needs to feel believable, relatable, and redeemable
- Jumpstart you out of overall writer's block
- Be your cheerleader, or give you the nudge your motivation needs
60 minutes, billed in advance. You're welcome to record the call, and I'll send detailed notes within 48 hours.
$75 minimum
"Keep Me Moving" Book Coaching Program
Ongoing coaching for the whole writing process, built around a rhythm that works for you. This includes:
- Scheduled coaching meetings, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
- A set amount of reading before each meeting, on a schedule we build together
- Ongoing coaching based on your progress and your goals
Billed monthly, based on pages read, meetings held, and the level of feedback you need.
"Series Bible" Creation
Do you remember the name of the restaurant your characters went to on their first date in book one? Your readers will notice if it changes in book three. A series bible keeps track of:
- Character names and physical characteristics
- Ages of characters
- Relationships between characters
- Dates, places, and seasons when events occurred
I'll read every book in your series, published or not, and build the reference you'll return to again and again. Let me worry about the details, so you can get busy writing.
Manuscript Evaluation
Honest, constructive feedback before you revise, query, or publish. You'll receive:
- A detailed editorial letter, up to five pages
- Assessment of structure, plot, pacing, characters, and voice
- Highlighted strengths and opportunities for growth
- Actionable suggestions for revision

| 30,001–60,000 words | $400 |
| 60,001–90,000 words | $550 |
| 90,001–120,000 words | $700 |
Custom quotes available for longer or more complex manuscripts. Turnaround is 2 to 4 weeks, depending on length and availability.
Developmental Editing
A deep dive into your manuscript's structure, style, and substance, covering:
- Structure and style
- Characterization
- Setting
- Plot holes
- Phrasing and sentence structure
Rates follow Editorial Freelancers Association standards, and vary by genre, content, and condition of the manuscript.
